This series of portraits aims to describe the “Polizia di Stato”, the Italian Police Force, which has a long and important tradition in the country. Indeed, its origins date back to 1843, when the king of Sardinia, Carlo Alberto, founded the institution.
This project is divided in several chapters, which show the different departments of the Polizia di Stato, with a particular attention to its staff and its points of view.
The project talks about everyday stories of women and men, of passions and sacrifices, some of these stories are easy, some are not, but when all pieced together they are small components of a bigger one.
